The name is pronounced Ah-new. Bronx born & raised, I started singing with my friends on the stoop at 6 years old. I've been performing formally since I was 13. I started lip synching at school talents shows, but soon realized I could also sing the songs I loved. I sang in competitions, for special events and talent shows around the Boogie Down. I started writing poetry and lyrics at 10. During college I became a regular performer at places such as The Supper Club & The Blue Note in NYC. After moving to the ATL, I began performing at spoken word spots and poetry again turned to song. My music has the expressive feeling of jazz and soul with rhythm & blues tendencies. My goal is to inspire, uplift and move people rhythmically by sharing my music with the world!
